Reservations
The Wilson Creek is by far my favorite white water rafting
in North Carolina, steep creeking at its best. This creek drops 85 feet per mile and
is the ride of a lifetime dropping over 5’ to 10’ ledges.
Everyone will be paddling one-man inflatable funyaks that
are very forgiving yet lots of fun. The Wilson's Creek trip will meet at
Ski Country Sports in Banner Elk at 9:30 a.m. and get back
that after noon before dinner. The drive to Wilson's creek is a
short distance it will only take around 45 minutes to get
there. Sometime about 11:00 a.m. you will be learning how to
maneuver these craft at School House rapid. |
