Whitewater Rafting on the Watauga River
To ensure your comfort, please dress for the
occasion.

When rafting, swimsuit or quick drying shorts
-
T-shirt, tennis shoes that tie on to your
feet (Teva type sandals are fine)
-
Wool sweater, socks and cap on cooler days
(wetsuits/paddling suits will be available
during spring and fall months); NOTE: Do not
wear cotton on cool days; this includes
jeans, t-shirts, and socks. Cotton can
actually rob your body of heat.

Towel for drying off at the end of the trip

Clothes to change into when you get off the
river

Plastic bag for wet stuff

Small amount of money (after the day of
rafting we stop for refreshments on the way back on
all trips)

If you've had a good time, our guides do
