High Mountain Expeditions claim, to have the best guides in the industry, is a claim that is not taken lightly. Our guides are reliable, knowledgeable and committed to providing the safest and most enjoyable trip possible for our guests. Our guides experience nearly 150 hours of training before ever taking their first guests down the river. All are qualified in CPR, First Aid, Swift Water Rescue, food handling education and Leave No Trace. Many have earned credentials as Emergency Medical Technicians and Wilderness First Responders. They are all exciting individuals who have a passion for sharing the outdoors.

No matter your adventure, whether you're hiking, rafting, caving, or tubing, outdoor adventures always seems to stimulate your appetite. All of our equipment is regularly updated so that you will have the latest and safest equipment on every High Mountain Expeditions Adventure. We take pride in having the nicest vehicle fleet in the industry. Our fleet of busses, passenger vans, and SUV's are all cleaned and updated regularly, to insure that you arrive at your destination in comfort and style. Since, getting to the trail head or River is an exciting time as you are anxious to begin your adventure, all of High Mountain Expeditions drivers are professionally trained and experienced at navigating the roads on which we operate.

Family Friendly

There is nothing that fosters family bonds and creates friendships like a family adventure. At High Mountain Expeditions we are siblings, parents and grandparents and we understand the importance of creating unforgettable, fun filled adventures for every member of the family. The minimum age for our adventures ranges from 3 to 9, so there are plenty of adventures for the whole family.

Gold Standard for River Safety

Our guides begin each adventure with a detailed orientation, much of which concerns safety. They demonstrate the proper use of your paddle, how to sit in the raft, how to properly adjust and wear your life jacket, how to hold on in rapids and what to do if you fall out of the raft. Our guides are always on alert and are constantly watching out for your well-being. Every trip is equipped with ample safety and first aid equipment as well as radios for emergency use. The goal of High Mountain Expeditions is to provide the safest and most enjoyable adventure possible.

Environmental stewardship is nothing new to High Mountain Expeditions. We have been at it for over 25 years. With the help of our guests, guides and entire company we help preserve the pristine rivers, beautiful trails and mysterious caves in which we operate.
